Why is the http://ehow.com site blakclisted "Your edit was not saved because it contains a new external link to a site registered on Wikipedia's blacklist. " -->Typ932 T·C 08:06, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I am not sure. In order to save the page, I had no choice but to remove the http://www. prefix. OSX (talkcontributions) 08:14, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wind deflectors

[edit]

I remember these from a number of 1980s and 1990s Alfa Romeos, and I recall that they were just called wind deflectors. However, of more importance, I have never seen a wind deflector attached the car (unless it is in relation to a sunroof) because you would not be able to open the door if it was attached the a-pillar... for an example see some pictures at Mick's Garage (Ireland). A US company selling auto spares also calls them wind deflectors Autoanything.com.

Of course to add to the confusion, this term also is used for convertible wind deflectors that sits between the front seats and the boot/trunk) of the car (see Just Wind Deflectors). Unless there is some history and background to the subject, this appears to be more of a dictionary definition rather than being encyclopaedic. Warren Whyte (talk) 13:24, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty sure JC Whitney is among many companies that have them too. But there really should be some references to them in this article, or at least an image of one. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 02:32, 20 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
