Microsoft Rush
[edit]Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL Does anyone have any WP:RS for Microsoft's Rush? It's been mentioned on Hacker News, but not in great detail. It's probably worth adding here somewhere. --Elephanthunter (talk) 16:28, 2 December 2019 (UTC)
- That and rush stack does seem to a relevant tool. 50.53.21.2 (talk) 07:02, 9 January 2020 (UTC)
Microsoft's Monorepo
[edit]The article says: "In March 2014 Microsoft announced that it switched over to using Git for its monorepo.[22][7]"
Also, I can't find anything in those citations to support an announcement made in March 2014. [22] Is a 2017 blog post that doesn't mention when the switchover happened, and [7] is a dead link but was once about Azure, which is not part of Windows.
The claim should probably be qualified to its _Windows_ monorepo. Microsoft products other than Windows are maintained in separate repos, thus the Windows monorepo, though large, is not as all-encompassing as the monorepos at other companies the section mentions, like Facebook and Google. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.70.108.140 (talk) 13:30, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
- @73.70.108.140: You are correct. Also, the date was wrong. Updated. --Elephanthunter (talk) 00:47, 14 March 2021 (UTC)
