Suggested amendments to Infobox
[edit]Hi everyone,
I work in Monitise's Communications team, based in London (please visit my userpage for full details) and I'd like to help contribute to keeping the Monitise Wikipedia page up-to-date with the latest information. There being a good deal of information about the company's financials in particular on the page that require regular updating, I hope that I can be helpful in sourcing the latest information for this.
As a first suggestion, I've outlined a couple of updates to the Infobox as laid out below - I'd appreciate if these were implemented and am happy to help with any referencing:
- Under 'Number of Locations', this could be amended to 'United Kingdom, United States, Turkey, India, Hong Kong and Indonesia'[1]
- Under 'Key People', Alastair Lukies is now co-CEO alongside Elizabeth Buse, and Peter Ayliffe is Chairman
- Under 'Revenue', the latest figure is 95.1m, correct to June 2014[2]
- For the category 'Owner', the list of names here is changeable due to the nature of Monitise being publicly listed. Our major shareholders page provides the latest information that I hope will be helpful in keeping this up to date
- For number of employees, this now falls between 750-1000
Please update accordingly if appropriate. I will start to look at the rest of the article and make contributions either here or via my userpage - I welcome your feedback and comments. Thanks all.

- Reliable sources (see WP:RS) for those numbers would be helpful. John Nagle (talk) 03:50, 17 March 2015 (UTC)
Hello - some citations have now been added to the text above. Please do let me know if you need any further in order to update.

COI issues
[edit]- LouisaMonitise (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · page moves · block user · block log) - presumably has some connection with Monitise. Please see the WP:COI rules. Thanks.
Took out some of the promotional material. There's still too much good-news-only happy talk. Monitise stock is down 96% in the last two years. Yet somehow that wasn't mentioned. John Nagle (talk) 19:01, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
- Hi John,
- Thank you for changing / amending the content accordingly. I have updated the page with some additional citations and have removed any double spacing that appeared.
- Is it possible to add the below to 2012-present?
- In June 2014, Monitise acquired Markco Media’s leading retailer offers, content and discount network, which includes the MyVoucherCodes brand. The acquisition augmented Monitise’s Buy Anything mobile commerce product offerings by connecting to a global network of 60,000 brands and retailers.
- In Spain, Yaap – a joint venture between CaixaBank, Santander and Telefónica - made Monitise the technology partner behind Yaap Shopping, a virtual mobile commerce service for retailers. The service launched in June 2014.
- 2014 has also seen Monitise founder and co-CEO Alastair Lukies awarded a CBE for services to mobile banking and charity and appointed as non-executive chairman of Innovate Finance; a new industry body which will look to represent Britain as a global leader in financial technology (FinTech).
- In 2015 Monitise announced that revenue declined 6% to £89.7m (FY 2014: £95.1m), changes to the board and progress on transition to cloud. Elizabeth Buse stepped down as CEO and from the Board, on 9 September 2015, and deputy CEO and Chief Commercial Officer Lee Cameron was appointed Monitise's new CEO.
