Why the Merdis (Mordvas) are (again) forgotten
[edit]In the Battle of 1223 fought near the Itil bend, half of the Iltäbär Habdulla Tshelbir´s army were Merdis who were allied with the Itil Bolghars, and fought under the command of their Inäzörs (Grand Princes) of several Merdi peoples. Not a mention of them in main article. Why Volga and Samara, which did not exist by name by the time. Their names should be only placed in brancets after the original names to write the correct history. Or is English Wikipedia writing only Russificaned Roshland history?
Please change also Ural River to Jaik River. The river was renamed only more than 500 years later to Ural River by the Russians.
