- Suppport: Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Music#Capitalization, which was mentioned by user In ictu oculi, refers to MOS:CT, and MOS:CT clearly states "For titles with subtitles or parenthetical phrases, capitalize as if they were separate titles". Darkday (talk) 11:13, 28 March 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose. MOS:CT also says "Prepositions containing four letters or fewer" shouldn't be capitalized unless they are the first word of a title. The MOS example "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" has the parenthetical part leading and it isn't a preposition. I think this is a case where local consensus can overrule MOS. - Oppose. It makes sense for the title outside the parentheses and would make sense if the title within parentheses is a phrase that would work on it's own (like a subtitle), but when the parenthetical is a simply a continuation of the title, it makes the most sense to treat it the same as if it didn't have parentheses at all. --StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 00:03, 12 April 2017 (UTC)
