I am not sure if this person satisfies either WP:BAND or WP:NMODEL. None of the biographical information in the article is supported by reliable sources so there is no evidence of significant coverage given. Tsugunaga's Japanese Wikipedia article is also not very well sourced, using mostly blogs, fan pages or primary sources which would all probably not satisfy WP:BLPSOURCES or WP:BLPPRIMARY. I've tried finding some third-party sources that might be used as inline citations, but have had no luck so far. I've also posted for suggestions at WT:JAPAN, but the post was archived without receiving any response. So, I've added {{BLPsources}} and {{Notability}} templates to the article, just to let others know that this article has some problems. The biographical information really should be properly cited by reliable and verifiable sources, Japanese or otherwise. If any one has any suggestion or ideas where to find these, then please discuss. - Marchjuly (talk) 01:41, 18 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
That's very strange. No luck at finding any citations? No coverage? Do you speak Japanese? Just do like this [1] and you'll see her name appearing in multiple headlines right at this moment. And if you search the web, you find hundreds of publications about her in Japanese. Hundreds. Yes, the article should be sourced and should be expanded. The "Biography" section doesn't say much except that she was a member of Berryz Kobo and Buono!, so you would help a lot if you searched Google for "her name in English + Hello! Project Kids + ZYX or Berryz Kobo or Buono! or Country Girls" and sourced some of the statements / added something new about her. I have removed the notability tag cause it's beyond doubt that she has been a member of several notable groups (WP:BAND 6) and the article already has sources for the fact that several of her DVDs have charted (it's not in WP:NMODEL, but I think it's kind of obvious that a person who released several DVDs that charted is notable just like any musician is per WP:NBAND.) --Moscow Connection (talk) 09:32, 18 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, I'm sorry that I can't help in searching for sources right now. (I'm busy with something else and I'm not worried that this article can ever be deleted.) But if you add some sources for her having been a member of 1. Hello! Project Kids, 2. ZYX, 2. Berryz Kobo, 3. Buono! [already added], 4. Country Girls + a few publications about her releasing a DVD or a photo book or recording a solo song or playing in a movie or TV series, it will be very nice. I've already explained how to search in Japanese (her name + some band name or some book or DVD title). --Moscow Connection (talk) 09:44, 18 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Oricon did something with its website, and I don't understand how to get a list of articles about a specific person anymore. But
Thank you for the response Moscow Connection. Japanese is not a really problem for me. When I googled her, I only found mostly fan pages and blogs; I wasn't able to find many reliable third-party sources which satisfy WP:RS. As you say, she is mentioned in a lot of stuff, but in many of them she's only mentioned in passing. Anyway, thank you for adding a source and I'll continue to look for some more. - Marchjuly (talk) 11:12, 18 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Search for "嗣永桃子" and "ももち" with "allintitle:" [8]. There are many sources about her releasing a photo book or a DVD. (But most are probably gonna be about her saying something cute somewhere.) And search for the title of her solo song ""ももち!許してにゃん♡体操". Some of the results: [9], [10], [11]. Maybe you will be able to find something meaningful about the lyrics. :) Cause the article definitely needs something meaningful, like a real review of her DVD or photo book or something. And by the way, she easily meets WP:NMODEL 1 and 2: ("1. Has had significant roles in multiple notable films, television shows, stage performances, or other productions. 2. Has a large fan base or a significant "cult" following.) I will prove the fact that she has a large fan base now, I will add a sentence about it in the article. --Moscow Connection (talk) 11:39, 18 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
