- When discussing the Molodtsov alphabets (that is a plural), we must remember that both a Cyrillic and a Latin version were authored and used in print. While the Cyrillic version has been totally facilitated by UNICODE, the Latin version has not.
The 41 Latin Molodtsov letters can be placed into four categories by asking the following questions:
1. Unicode-enabled Yes/No 2 missing: vertical descender, right v. d. 2. Correct Unicode range Yes/No 3: є U+0454, ь U+044C, з U+0437 3. Non-precompiled Yes/No 8 are lacking vertical descenders
