Jean Claude Van Johnson
[edit]Shouldn't there be info on Moises' role in the Jean Claude Van Johnson TV show? I don't think he plays a small role in that though I guess we can't be sure until the rest of the episodes come out. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.42.90.123 (talk) 19:12, 21 October 2017 (UTC)
Moises Arias Info
[edit]Can anyone look for me that says that his nickname is really kro? Because I cant trust only one website. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gossipforgossip (talk • contribs) 15:29, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
Colombian parents?
[edit]Anyone have a good, reliable source for that? Please find before restoring Mad Jack 05:04, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
Yes
[edit]Mad Jack, his parents are Colombian or other Spanish colonized places.
1994 or 1997?
[edit]What is his REAL birth year? According to imdb, it's 1997, but according to http://www.tv.com/moises-arias/person/418296/summary.html?q=&tag=search_results;title;1 it's 1994. What is it really? Wikipeep 494 21:00, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
- Neither of those sources make the cut for a reliable source. So, until we find one, we can't list his birthdate or age. - SummerPhD (talk) 13:31, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
Movie Table
[edit]I don't think I need to explain much about how the table that shows all the movies he's in is COMPLETELY messed up! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.201.126.80 (talk) 22:07, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
IMBD and TV.COM always contradict
I could fine nothing authoritative or reliable with a quick web search. Consensus seems to be 1994 but I could find nothing that Wikipedia would consider a reliable reference. Without a reliable reference we may need to leave his birthdate as n/a.--NrDg 05:33, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- Only thing I can find a source for is that he was born in April. --Malevious Userpage •Talk Page• Contributions 05:45, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- IMDB and TV.COM say 1994 now but both appear to be unstable as users change the year between 94 and 97. I say stick with 94 as that was pretty accepted until recently. Still need something like a print article about him from a major source or a reliable website that interviewed him. --NrDg 14:01, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- The change in date to 1997 seems to driven by one IP 67.171.90.133. This editor is making birth year changes to a lot of other actors as well, including ones that are well referenced. I would class this as vandalism and not good-faith.--NrDg 15:45, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
I found one site that I am not sure of as being a reliable source http://www.fanmail.biz/97880.html. They list his birthday as 12/April/1994. They don't seem to be user driven like most but also not sure of their reputation for research, they might just be recycling stuff they find here. --NrDg 15:57, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
Another cite for 1994, again not sure of reliability http://www.moviekids.org/code/actor_page.php/0/4722 --NrDg 16:02, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- Added the cite to article from Movie Kids --NrDg 15:45, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
Pictures
[edit]Can Anyone Help Me on how to insert a picture?
Everybody Hates Chris?
[edit]i saw him in an episode of Everybody Hates Chris (for like, 30 seconds). do you think that should be mentioned here as a television appearance? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.84.49.230 (talk) 20:07, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
- Minor appearances are generally not included. - SummerPhD (talk) 16:40, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
Birthdate
[edit]Even if you want to verify that his year of birth is, in fact, 1994 (for the record, I have never seen anything to contradict that), I can verify that his birthday is April 18; it said as such on his page at the 2008 Disney Channel Games website. Just how much verification do you want? Hallpriest9 (Talk) 03:26, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
- The reference originally used got deleted by an IP circa July 2008 after a lot of birth date vandalism. The source which is now http://www.moviekids.org/code/actor_page.php?sess=4ih4gkse8d7lgeim38rbom9h65&actorid=4722 gives a birth date of Tuesday 12th february 1994. The original version at that site was 12th April 1994 [1]. IMDB says April 18, 1994. The 2008 Disney Channel Games website I found http://www2.disney.co.uk/DisneyChannel/supersites/games/ does not give any birth date for Arias. We need a better reference than the moviekids.org site - it looks to be editable by anonymous users and I don't know anything about it having a reputation for fact checking. If someone removes this reference as not a reliable source I wouldn't object. Note: IMDB has exactly the same problem. --NrDg 04:35, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
- When I mentioned the DCG website, I meant the one that is linked from the Disney Channel Games article, not the British one that you appear to have gone to. The website is down now, but you can use the Wayback Machine if you want to check that. Hallpriest9 (Talk) 14:00, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
Why is everybody removing April 18,1994!
[edit]This is really pissin' me off because if you go to imdb.com and type in Moises Arias his birth date is April 18,1994. I put this on the article Moises Arias but someone took it down. I gonna put it up again and if someone takes it down I swear to god.... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zach Benjamin (talk • contribs) 22:51, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
- I don't know why, since I haven't removed it, but I'd guess it's because IMDB isn't a reliable source - it can be edited by anyone. Cheers, This flag once was redpropagandadeeds 22:55, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
- Incidentally, the article did say 18th April when you posted that. I've changed it, however, as the claim was referenced - and the reference states 12th April: here. Cheers, This flag once was redpropagandadeeds 23:29, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, and one final thing - you should probably check your talk page. You were warned about adding uncited information to this article: you can click on the links in the message to learn more about what it was that resulted in your edit being reverted. - As previous references stating a early date on April 12 have been pointed as unfair sources, we declare that this source is the most official we have on the issue and it concludes April 18 as the birth day of Arias. Please do not remove such date according to that source, although you can provide a birth certificate of Arias or a more authorized source. --Albeiror24 - English - Español - Italiano 16:01, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
- I'm not sure what you mean by "unfair sources"
, but I'd agree that moisesariasweb.com seems to be a far more reliable source than the previous references which stated April 12.Cheers, This flag once was redpropagandadeeds 16:16, 26 March 2009 (UTC)Edited: struck-out comment re: WP:RS per comment below. This flag once was redpropagandadeeds 16:25, 26 March 2009 (UTC)- http://colombiapassport.com/2009/03/23/moises-arias-of-colombia/ used a reference for other stuff gives birthdate as 18th April 1994 and is a much better reference than a fan site. --NrDg 16:30, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

Everybody just relax!!!!!!!!! Why don't we just ask him ourselves when he was born?!?!?!?!?! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.66.254.129 (talk • contribs) 16:22, 1 June 2010
- Asking him will not give us a verifiable source. If anyone ever questions any information on Wikipedia, the page should provide the source of the information and a way to verify that it is correct (a way to "look it up"). Him answering your question does not provide that. - SummerPhD (talk) 19:27, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

reference http://colombiapassport.com
[edit]http://colombiapassport.com/2009/03/23/moises-arias-of-colombia/ reference appears to be a blog web site hosted by Albeiror24 (talk · contribs) http://colombiapassport.com/about/ based on information on the site itself. Generally blogs are discouraged as references due to uncertainty of level of fact checking. Since the blogger is editing here, I would prefer to see the primary sources used for the blog information instead of the blog itself. I fear that Wiki itself and other anonymously edited sources might be some of the sources used. I strongly want to encourage Albeiror24 to continue his efforts to improve the article. He appears to have sources not otherwise found. --NrDg 16:41, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

Easy Riders Bike Show Involvement
[edit]I'm not a regular contributor, but I figured this would be of interest http://www.easyridersevents.com/content/2010-08-06-Brand-New-Kids-Zone-Debuting-at-Easyriders-Events-Bike-Show-Tour He's hosting a thing for the Easy Riders Bike Show. I have no clue how to cite or any of that, so I guess I'll just leave this here for all of you. Mysticwarloc (talk) 23:08, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
Nationality
[edit]I have removed "Columbian" from the lead paragraph once again because the subject's nationality goes in the lead only, not the subject's ethnic decent. The subject was born in New York to Colombian parents - he's American by birth and of Colombia decent. If someone holds dual citizenship, that's a different story. Thus far, no one has come up with a source that says he does. Just claiming it in an edit summary and adding a link that doesn't even support such a claim is not sufficient. 01:02, 21 January 2013 (UTC)— Preceding unsigned comment added by Pinkadelica (talk • contribs)
- He may be a dual national but all his notable activities are as an American so that is what belongs in lede. An ethnicity (which is what the Colombian American article describes - Americans of Colombian descent) does not go in lede unless that is significant part of what he is notable for. WP:OPENPARA goes into some detail about this. Geraldo Perez (talk) 03:37, 9 February 2013 (UTC)
"Controversy" section is pointless and misleading
[edit]A very minor tabloid scandal-that-wasn't has for some reason been turned into an entire subsection. Why? He and his brother both lived with the Smith family. According to Jada it was normal for them to lounge around the house shirtless, and the idea of there being anything sexual about the photo was ridiculous. CPS accepted that explanation and the investigation wasn't taken any further. So where's the 'controversy'? Doesn't 'controversy' imply a disagreement? Differing view points? Conflict? 2601:647:8481:B000:2DEC:1820:B84:B1A1 (talk) 11:13, 14 January 2022 (UTC)
Exactly! I came here to say the same thing. It was a non-issue then and it's even less of an issue now, almost eight years later. What I mean by "even less of an issue" is that it's not a controversy, and it needs to be removed. OdinMyGod (talk) 22:41, 26 March 2022 (UTC)
- But it’s still mentioned on hers so he’s still being seen that way. 209.36.200.42 (talk) 21:18, 16 August 2024 (UTC)
