Editors of this (and all Wikipedia articles) should talk note of Wikipedia's policies on maintaining a neutral point of view and verifiability. I have removed text for the article that advanced one point of view over others, including the dispute between Muslims and Hindus over the partition of India, and text that celebrates the subject of the article, instead of reporting objectively on him. Also, I have made edits to bring this article in line with the Wikipedia:Manual of Style and WP:REPEATLINK. These edits must not be reverted without discussion. Ground Zero | t 14:10, 18 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

W ref to the notes above by Ground Zero, this article seems to still be full of many problems and issues-basic ones such as v poor and unreliable references and extremely bad writing which is very confusing ; to a definite slanted/biased POV that seems to project the subject in some sort of 'peacock' style language, as some sort of messiah or do-it-all. Which certainly wasnt the case, historically speaking. I would strongly suggest that this article be drastically cut and pruned and revised, and made succinct and clear and neutral. would especially welcome proper reliable references, not self-published sources or sources closely linked to the subject. Thank you Khani100 (talk) 21:16, 26 September 2014 (UTC)Khani100[reply]

Further points to note please -- this article state that the subject Mullah Hazarvi's father was a 'descendant' of the Sufi Maudood Chishti and cites some 'Adams, pp 100-101' as the source of this information; but then there is no detail about this Adams or where he said it or when, or int what context etc? Also, the article informs us in the Infobox that Hazarvi was ethnically a Karlal who are either a Rajput or Saka tribe. If so then how can he be a 'descendant' of Maudood Chishti, who was from the family of Baba Farid the famous Sufi of Pakpattan?-- That family are Farooqi according to historians? There seems to be a basic, factual discrepancy and I am removing the dubiously referenced material forthwith. Thanks Khani100 (talk) 21:28, 26 September 2014 (UTC)Khani100[reply]

Orphaned references in Mohammad Abdul Ghafoor Hazarvi

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Mohammad Abdul Ghafoor Hazarvi's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "auto":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 18:40, 20 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
