Is it a crime to add this?
Autochthony writes: At Liverpool Polytechnic [now LJMU] Mo was certainly politically aware. He was a good - but not exceptional - student. Is it a crime to add this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.161.194.33 (talk) 17:46, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
- Without a reliable source, it has no place here. --Orange Mike | Talk 16:04, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
Autochthony writes: I was there. It was a BSc - not a BA. I say again - I was there. Eyewitness and that. Belief is everything, but I've got the degree, too. Autochthony wrote - 2121 Z 21 August 2013. 86.166.89.235 (talk) 21:23, 21 August 2013 (UTC)
- "I was there" does not constitute a verifiable, reliable source, which is what we need here. --Orange Mike | Talk 21:27, 21 August 2013 (UTC)
Autochthony writes (more): - Orange - thanks. So much for witness evidence, then. Why bother trying to improve when - if it's not published in the 'News of the World' - it cannot be true. Autochthony writes, with sadness, 2135 Z 21 August 2013. 86.166.89.235 (talk) 21:36, 21 August 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry to hear of your sadness, but I'm sure you understand why we can't include information from anonymous internet contributors to people's biographies. If you can find reliable, verifiable information about Nasheed, though, its addition would be very welcome! You can read more about the policy at the links Orangemike provided, particularly WP:V. Accepted and Pending revisions.
The users who review the pending revisions are rejecting correct information (with references), and this is making it very hard to update information. To those users: please recheck the revisions and their validity thoroughly before rejecting it. - zyanshafyu, Ziansh (talk) 10:14, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
- I'm sorry about that. I thought I saw a section being deleted without comment at the bottom of this edit, but it's simply being retitled. Thank you for your improvements to this article. / edg ☺ ☭ 11:54, 21 December 2010 (UTC)

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Please provide reliable sources. Note that accusations of crimes need extremely high quality sources, per WP:BLP--so not just pictures, not blogs, but good, reliable newspapers or the like. Qwyrxian (talk) 07:00, 7 July 2011 (UTC)
Redundant Phrasing
"Mohamed Nasheed is a Maldivian politician. He is the current President of the Maldives."
If he is the President of the Maldives then of course he is a Maldivian politican. This makes it sound redundant and pedantic. It should just say "Mohamed Nasheed is the current President of the Maldives."WikiRealmer (talk) 07:10, 24 July 2011 (UTC)
