proposal to re-order sections
[edit]Currently services are listed in historical order so that one has to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to get to the details of the current transmissions.
I would suggest that the priority of most people visiting the page is to get the current transmission details.
Therefore I propose that the service details should be re-formatted into two sections -- Current Services and Previous Services.
The Current Services will have the latest available details on radio and TV services and frequencies and then below that the Previous Services can list in historical order all of the changes starting from VHF analogue TV and UHF analogue TV through digital before switch over and digital switch over.
In this way the tables at the top will be the most relevant for readers and no historical data will be lost, so long as previous "current" details are appended to the bottom of the previous services section before the latest changes are applied to the "current" services table.
Any objections to splitting the content into Current and Previous (Historical) and reordering with the current/latest at the top? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.207.246.53 (talk) 20:29, 9 October 2020 (UTC)

Moel-y-Parc transmitting station → Moel y Parc transmitting station – The name used for the mast appears to have changed over the years (possibly to mirror the hill). Looking through the references in the article to web pages for organisations, Moel-y-Parc is used on the one from 1966[1], whereas Moel y Parc is used in ones from 2009[2], 2019[3][4] and 2020[5]. The latter spelling is used on current pages from Ofcom[6], Freeview[7] and Flintshire County Council[8] use for the transmitter. Some independent web sites use Moel-y-Parc now, but I don't know their reasons. They could even have taken it from Wikipedia.

- Support per nom, and on the basis of WP:CONSISTENT as the name here is somewhat descriptive with unclear common use, so better be consistent with Moel y Parc. DankJae 13:52, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
