Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because it is the first industrial software based digital media store, similar in concept to: the iTunes Store or Google Play for the SCADA industry. I added more content to the article.

Here is some external media feedback: Automation, Manufacturing and Leadership columnist Gary Mintchell called it, "a platform and business model worth watching" and described the company as "developing something disruptive that is going to revolutionize the industry" (http://www.garymintchellsfeedforward.com/feed-forward/2013/2/18/arc-forum-2013-first-community-based-industrial-automation-s.html) Dale Peterson of Digital Bond picked it up here: http://www.digitalbond.com/blog/2013/02/22/friday-news-notes-64/ Dave Greenfield of Automation world explains the significance as "Consumer technology driving Automation" with a comparison to the iTunes store. http://www.automationworld.com/consumer-technology-drives-automation

Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... Both from the description and the section on Media response, this article clearly indicates why the topic is significant or important; it's the first 'app' store for SCADA modules. The Automation world and Digital Bond articles further contribute towards notability and thus significance. This article fails criterion A7 and the CSD should be declined. --Mark viking (talk) 19:49, 10 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Agree. Removing tag. I'm not sticking around long to cleanup however, or to prevent someone else to come along and PROD it or Nominate it for deletion through other channels. Needs clean up! Keeper | 76 17:57, 11 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
