The information currently on there is concise and clear to understand. I'm interested in seeing how you elaborate on Mobil's effective response. I think it would be interesting to include if Mobil has had oil spills in the past in Nigeria or in the region and how their response has changed/ improved over time. Other information I'm interested in is how fast Mobil responded and if Mobil plans on making any adjustments to address what caused the spill. Also, you could add a picture! The section headers make sense. Both of our articles are referring to interactions between African states and the environment, especially as it relates to income and the environment. Broadly, there is still content you plan on adding, but your notes look like you're on track to cover different perspectives on the topic.

I think that this is a great start and it reads very concisely. I would definitely like to see more about the spill itself and some of the environmental externalities that occurred later on and, if possible, still occurring today. I would also enjoy seeing you talk a little bit more about the class action suits you had mentioned. 14000 suits is a huge number and I would like to hear more about how Mobil went about handling this process. One important area that I think could be considered/expanded on is what was the national response in general. Has the government made any moves to prevent these kinds of catastrophes such as scaling back oil production or designating drill sites to remote locations? In terms of content related to my own article, I think both of our articles do a great job at illustrating many of the hardships that individuals on the continent face from both domestic and international influence. I really like the organization of your article, no critiques here. I think the best takeaway here for what I would like to see more of is, why does this issue in particular matter?
