[edit]It seems that the external link " mklivecd project page" is incorrect and leads to a site dedicated to Unity Linux. As far as I could find out, it should be http://livecd.berlios.de/?Introduction instead. Clicking on "Scripts and links" at last mentioned site, followed by the link below "Project Overview" (http://developer.berlios.de/project) leads to a list of available files which have "mklivecd" in their names.
I left it as it is for now, because it seems a bit rude to me to immediately edit it myself, being a new "editor". Peter Conen (talk) 01:39, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
I question this:
"It was originally used primarily for the Debian distribution"
I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure Fragadelic of Remastersys fame wrote that he was inspired my mklivecd of MANDRAKE linux and that Remastersys was an effort to bring the same functionality to the Debian family of OSs. I'd put in "citation needed" if I wasn't too lazy to look up how. Later: I went ahead and took out the sentence: "It was originally used primarily for the Debian distribution, but has since become available prominently on all distributions of Linux-operating system." It has 2 claims joined by the conjunction "but" - BUT, I think both are wrong. I don't think it originated with Debian and it certainly isn't "prominent" on "all" linux distros. If you think I'm wrong support your belief. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.96.210.230 (talk) 09:13, 25 August 2015 (UTC)
