Divisions and Culture Edit Request
[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
Hello editors, this is Nik from Mizuho Financial Group here on this talk page with an edit request. If you are curious about my COI, please visit my user page. I'm here to post two drafts I whipped up that adds to the Divisions section, as well as updating an existing sentence in the Culture section. I've broken down the additions and changes in two separate collapsable drafts below. For the Divisions section, I drafted up two sentences that ideally would be added to the end of the first paragraph. Here, I've utilized the best sourcing I could find, including a piece from Bloomberg and one from Nikkei Asia to add details about Mizuho America's role in underwriting the Arm IPO in 2023. I also drafted a new sentence that points out the Arm IPO was the largest of 2023. Please read below:

In September 2023, Mizuho Americas won a lead role as underwriter for British multinational semiconductor and software design company Arm Holdings initial public offering (IPO).[1] The IPO was the biggest of 2023, and the largest offering in the technology field since Alibaba Group in 2014.[2] References

In the Culture section, the sentence I am proposing here merely updates the current Mizuho Americas Open purse sentence, which was bumped up to $3 million for the 2024 season. I added a new NJ.com reference, which I propose to replace the older AP article that had the now outdated information. Please read below:

The event has a purse of $3 million, a 120-player field, and an AJGA Invitational component for 24 junior golfers.[1] References

To whichever editor evaluates this set of requests, thank you very much. I will be standing by if there are any questions about the draft. Nik with Mizuho (talk) 14:39, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
