Ishiura retirement
[edit]I modified the article following the announcement of Ishiura's retirement to place him in the stable's retirees. For the moment, however, I've decided to keep Chikubayama in the coach category, as we don't know exactly when the switch from toshiyori's share will take place. - OtharLuin (talk) 06:00, 1 June 2023 (UTC)
- Update: later in the day it was confirmed that Ishiura would take over the name Magaki immediately after his retirement, the sumo association page having been modified, I have updated the article. - OtharLuin (talk) 13:34, 1 June 2023 (UTC)
Stable's future
[edit]Given recent developments and news about the stable's future, the section "Hokuseihō assault allegations" probably needs to be promoted section-wise. Should this wait until there's a final disposition on what happens? JRHorse (talk) 04:57, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
Wrestlers' future
[edit]Now that we know for sure where the wrestlers will go once the stable is closed (temporarily) I'd like to have a discussion about the fate of the wrestlers. I wasn't a wikipedian when Kise stable closed and so don't know how things were organized then. I know from Gagamaru's page that the temporary host stable is noted on the wrestlers page, but when do you think the actual change can be noted on the pages Miyagino wrestlers? - OtharLuin (talk) 13:16, 28 March 2024 (UTC)
