Initial post
[edit]As with all my contributions to Wikipedia, I am using only the reference material I have access to. In the case of most of what I've contributed to lately, which seems to be mostly the computer underground, all material is based on released newspaper, magazine, book, or TV interviews, articles, etc. I obviously both respect and have interest in the works of the people involved and I am in no way attempting to be disrespectful or biased. There may be more or better photos of Mixter available, I simply used the one which I know if copyright free and released into the public domain. If anyone involved with cDc has further info or notices anything blatantly wrong that I have missed, please change or correct it. Thanks! TrancedOut 23:33, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
mstream
[edit]According to Mixter's website http://mixter.void.ru/about.html may be down
"TFN2K was suspected as the program that had been used, simply because it was the most popular DDoS proof-of-concept application during that time. Later, people found out that a different tool, "mstream", had been used, by a Canada-based teenager, to launch off the attacks in question."
Kemal Akman
[edit]Does anyone know if this is in fact his real name? or just another alias he uses? -- Ϫ 05:33, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Can we confirm that the front image is him? AGF doesn't really work in this field. Materialscientist (talk) 08:11, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
ORTS ticket OTRS 2011092510010137
[edit]I cleaned up the article in response to an OTRS email. I removed information that was sourced to blogs, and took out content that seemed off the mark in the level of detail given to a criminal incident that ultimately resulted in a probation sentence for a youthful offender.
Additionally, we need to consider whether the over a decade old incident needs to be covered in a biographical type article or if we could cover it in other articles. I would prefer that we redirect the article, but will wait for other opinions.
If the article is kept and expanded, it needs to have very strong references in reliable sources with the text reflecting an encyclopedic tone. FloNight♥♥♥♥ 23:15, 25 September 2011 (UTC)
