Psychoactive substances
[edit]@Damien Linnane: I modified this article a lot, see https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Mixed_drink&oldid=1061940002. I also added the polysubstance drinks to Template:Lists of drinks. I also started Category:Polysubstance drink. Please let me know if you'd do otherwise. All the best! --Bawanio (talk) 22:05, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Bawanio. I think the addition to the template and the new category are good ideas. I think it's fine to mention in the lead that a mixed drink can contain psychoactive substances, but these are obviously significantly less common that alcoholic mixed drinks, so I think the article should mention them primarily, and then maybe touch on psychoactive substances afterwards. The lead should definitely focus more on the most common mixed drinks.
- I've also never seen someone put a 'See also' link to a category before, like you've done directly under the 'Psychoactive' heading. I'm not saying you can't do that (I honestly don't know), I'm just saying I've never seen that before, so I'd be surprised if there isn't policy against doing that. - @Damien Linnane: I mentioned alcholic drinks in the top and I removed the category from the text. But your edit here removed Alcohol as a sub-section of Psychoactive. Alcohol (drug) is a drug. --Bawanio (talk) 02:01, 26 January 2022 (UTC)
- Oh, I didn't see a need to have it as a sub-section, but if that was your reasoning I'm not fussed either way. Damien Linnane (talk) 02:40, 26 January 2022 (UTC)
