Scotland and Northern Ireland

[edit]

It's silly to suggest, as this article does, that there are zero mixed white and black African people in Scotland and Northern Ireland. It's just that the mixed ethnic group category didn't have sub-categories in Scotland and NI like it did in England and Wales. Instead, it was a write-in box. See https://census.ukdataservice.ac.uk/use-data/censuses/forms.aspx for the forms. 84.64.141.93 (talk) 19:50, 30 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This also means you can't calculate a UK total. 84.64.141.93 (talk) 19:53, 30 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
(I know this comment is 1 year old) It was a write in box but are write in box answers for Scotland and NI available anywhere for us to collect the figures from? NOMIS allows this for England and Wales but no such things are available for Scotland and NI so for the moment I will change 0 to 'figures unavailable'. I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Mixed White and Black African people in the United Kingdom's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "religion":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. Feel free to remove this comment after fixing the refs. AnomieBOT 21:27, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
