Mitsubishi Neptune 4G4 (4G41 & 4G42) Engine

[edit]

Mitsubishi Neptune 4G4 (or as it was often also called a 4G41, or 4G42) was installed AND SOLD via export to New Zealand, in the COLT T-120-Y Cab/chassis & Cab/pickup (ute) truck variants, MANY of which (upon arrival in NZ) were stripped of their "narrow" factory fitted, drop-side or well decks (and replaced) in preference for after market WIDE-BODY flat decks, that were thus ideal for small "Lifestyle-Block" farmers, as well as orchardists and were also used as wide-body pickups for trades-people (commonly called "Tradies").

The BOOKLET for these is shown in: http://tractors.wikia.com/wiki/Mitsubishi_pickup_trucks

With specific interest being directed to THE PICTURED TRUCK (therein), with the registration plate number (vanity/personalized plate) of: QUIX.

Now re-registered / re-plated (With a "Replacement Plate") as: KDR682 Re: https://carjam.co.nz/car/?plate=QUIX (thus the NEW plate look-up directs the searcher to: https://carjam.co.nz/car/?plate=KDR682 )

This vehicle still operates an ORIGINAL "Mitsubishi 4G41 Neptune" 1400cc motor (which turned over nicely today - thanks, after the battery was given a boost charge)

As (?): It is currently being prepared for sale, either tomorrow "privately", or via Trade Me auctions website - next week (sorry, that website's auctions are ONLY available to NZ & Australian buyers ONLY, and the specific auction - "for that vehicle" WILL ONLY be available to NZ Classic / vintage car buyers, located WITHIN NZ.)
