Lead and Route Description
[edit]- "Its western terminus is at the Kansas state line where it continues as K-126." - The highway's terminus is at the line but the highway continues?
- Clarified.—– 03:55, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- "Its eastern terminus is at US 160 in Golden City, sharing it with Route 37." - repetitive sentence structure, also confusing.
- Fixed.—– 03:55, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- "...a few trees. After the route intersects Route J, trees clear up..." - awkward phrasing regarding the woodlands.
- Removed "trees clear up".—– 03:55, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- "...vehicles travel on the road daily, on average." - awkward phrasing. See examples on some of my articles on how I handle AADT. --AdmrBoltz 01:33, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- Better?—– 03:55, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
History
[edit]- You are violating a lot of Wikipedia:Using maps and similar sources in Wikipedia articles in your history. You have to be very careful when citing maps for history. Review the "original research" section of this essay in particular.
- Okay, I added more maps, and will change some parts of the wording soon.—– 03:42, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
References
[edit]- The paper maps are missing section numbers. I'd like to see the route number you used for the route in the FlexMap viewer in a comment or something. Personally I add it as part of the title parameter (FlexMap (trail ID x).
- Going to add section numbers later. Should I cite the FlexMap the hard way, instead of using {{MoDOT Flex}}?—– 04:07, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- Didn't know there was a template. Its fine I suppose with out an ID. --AdmrBoltz 06:17, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- Okay, done adding sections.—– 17:50, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
I am placing this article on hold for seven days. --AdmrBoltz 01:33, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
I am passing this article. I am not a fan of putting in the KML and the Wikidata links in the references section as it squashes the references. --AdmrBoltz 18:35, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
