External links modified (February 2018)
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just modified one external link on Miss America 2003. Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/web/20071028132957/http://missamerica.org/scholarships/recipients-2002.asp to http://www.missamerica.org/scholarships/recipients-2002.asp

Problem with sourcing
[edit]All sourcing is currently to a single Associated Press item, which is fine as far as it goes. However, several sections are unreferenced including the entirety of the contestants table. I will personally refrain from removing these sections during the current month, but I can't speak for others who come across the unreferenced material.
The Erika Harold article appears to be well referenced, so one option is to redirect this to that. But we usually redirect pageant years to the series, so perhaps redirecting to Miss America is better.
Additionally, the order of announcements table, found in many other Miss America articles, seems to be not just unsourced, but gratuitous and non-useful to an encyclopedia. If there's any other commentary on this maybe we should start a discussion at Talk:Miss America.
Virtually the same issues exist for Miss America 2004, maybe we can just discuss both of them here. ☆ Bri (talk) 17:27, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
- So you're proposing to redirect this whole article because it has one or more unreferenced sections? That's pretty much the definition of throwing the baby out with the bathwater, don't you think? --GRuban (talk) 17:35, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
- Perhaps we should continue at Talk:Miss America where I started a new thread. ☆ Bri (talk) 18:01, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
- Er. We started on your talk page, then you said to go here. Now we are going to a third place? If this ends up at yet a fourth or fifth place, a noticeboard or something, I shall be peeved. --GRuban (talk) 19:07, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
