Requested move 13 July 2015

The result of the move request was: no consensus. A separate RM should probably be started for deciding whether the fairy tale is the primary topic. Jenks24 (talk) 16:26, 29 July 2015 (UTC)
Misfortunes → Misfortunes (album) – Misfortune is the primary topic of Misfortunes. In ictu oculi (talk) 04:53, 13 July 2015 (UTC)
- Support for the same reason parachutes and moved to Parachutes (album).--67.68.29.1 (talk) 13:29, 13 July 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose - pageviews show no evidence of WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Misfortune has more views, but not substantially so. WP:SMALLDETAILS would be preferred over parenthetical disambiguation in this situation. Sovereign Sentinel (talk) 14:59, 13 July 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose per WP:PLURALPT. Note that there is no article on the concept of "misfortune" - there is a folk tale called Misfortune and a recently created disambiguation page. Dohn joe (talk) 15:30, 13 July 2015 (UTC)
- We don't do this, Talk:Bookends (album) Talk:Parachutes (album) etc etc. Who has been editing WP:PLURALPT then? In ictu oculi (talk) 17:50, 13 July 2015 (UTC)
- Please see Snickers, Friends, Windows, etc etc. We do this when it's appropriate and when there's consensus. Dohn joe (talk) 18:21, 13 July 2015 (UTC)
- Yes and those are the 3 exceptions which are stuck because they are notable, this isn't. In ictu oculi (talk) 11:34, 20 July 2015 (UTC)

- Strong support per nom; the album is clearly not a primary topic, it doesn't even show up in the first page of google results ; however, the topic at "Misfortune" is also not a primary topic. Instead this page, and "misfortune" should both be the same disambiguation page. -- 67.70.32.20 (talk) 06:18, 14 July 2015 (UTC)
- To elaborate : Misfortune -> Misfortune (fairy tale) ; Misfortune (disambiguation) -> Misfortune ; Misfortunes -> Misfortunes (album) ; then repoint "Misfortunes" -to- "Misfortune" (which will have become a disambiguation page) -- 67.70.32.20 (talk) 06:21, 14 July 2015 (UTC)
- Support as per this comment. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:24, 15 July 2015 (UTC)

- Support as per this comment Misfortune -> Misfortune (fairy tale) ; Misfortune (disambiguation) -> Misfortune In ictu oculi (talk) 11:33, 20 July 2015 (UTC)

- Oppose per WP:PLURALPT and WP:SMALLDETAILS. I see no benefit to either redirecting the current title to the Italian fairy tale Misfortune or to the dab page, which doesn't include anything else ambiguous with the plural "misfortunes".--Cúchullain t/c 16:21, 20 July 2015 (UTC)
- There's actually no other article titled *either* "Misfortune" or "Misfortunes". Misfortune is an article on a fairy tale. The dab page lists "bad luck", but that just redirects to List of unlucky symbols. This is a problem searching for a solution if ever there was one.--Cúchullain t/c 16:33, 20 July 2015 (UTC)
