A fact from Mirza Adeeb appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 25 June 2013, and was viewed approximately 385 times (disclaimer) (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that Mirza Adeeb was a prominent modern Pakistani Urdu playwright whose later work focuses on social problems and daily life?
This page should not be speedily deleted because... I have just started writing this out. I have got a number of pubished sources to get material for this article. The article is quite notable because sources identify him as one of the best drama-writers in Urdu. I did not find an entry about him here, so I decided to write one out. The article also has an entry on the Urdu wikipedia. His dramas are part of school syllabi in Pakistan. The tag is too early to put here.—Шαмıq☪тαʟκ✍ @20:18, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The article mentions Adeeb's birth year and then directly mentions the years in which he got awards. In the middle prose section no time track is seen. Maybe we can include years somewhere if available. Its not needed for DYK promotion and hence am posting it here. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 11:07, 19 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I know it already, धर्म. I used all possible sources I had (1. the internet and 2. the books I brought from Pakistan two years ago). I don’t have a single public library where I am staying (Ras Al Khaimah). Due to limited sources, I did not find a proper timeline. All I found was just his birth, death years and award years... (sigh) I hope that when I get back to Pakistan towards the end of June, I will be able to get into libraries and find more material about him.—Шαмıq☪тαʟκ✍ @—Preceding undated comment added 11:27, 19 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
