"Mirta Diza-Balart in Cuba
Was just browsing through and looked this over.
Yes, this is true, as I have myself been relayed this information from family sources however, I think it would be rather difficult to provide citations as, Mirta's family is very hush-hush on this subject. She returned recently to be with Fidelito. I found it VERY interesting. Would never have guessed."

Clarifications needed
[edit]"while in Cuba to visit and endorse Fidel Castro, Mirta was deprived for many years of the company of her son" - when did that happen ?
"Ann Louise Bardach : Cuba Confidential. p.67. "One knowledgable source claims that Mirta returned to Cuba in early 2002 and is now living with Fidelito and his family"." - that needs tidying up.

Acute i
[edit]On 2 September 2008 User:Callelinea moved this article from Mirta Díaz-Balart to Mirta Diaz-Balart, changing the i-acute (í) in Díaz to a normal "i". The Wikipedia articles of her family members all use the i-acute, as do the cited sources here. I suggest to move this article back. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 04:47, 15 February 2020 (UTC)
