Fencing Foil
[edit]The image with Dajo transfixed with a sword has a fencing foil, not a rapier. AThousandYoung (talk) 06:39, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
Exotic Matter
[edit]I have deleted the category for exotic matter as it relates to a concept in particle physics that has nothing to do with the feats that this man claims to have accomplished. Any suggestion that he achieved these feats through the use of exotic matter, that he was composed of exotics matter or other such suggestions require backing up though clear citations else they will be removed undr WP:OR. perfectblue 11:17, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale
[edit]Image:Mirin Dajo X-Ray.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Time magazine interview
[edit]This page makes multiple references to a Time magazine interview without providing a citation. I assume this is the article that contains the interview, but I can't verify it because it's not accessible without a subscription. I'll link it here in case anyone is able to access it to verify the information written here.

- Oqwert. The link seems to be free to read now. I inserted it. Also found a youtube of a news clip Man Who Defies Death (1947) on YouTube but unsure of how and where videos can be used (in EL atm). Technophant (talk) 07:14, 15 January 2022 (UTC)
Dajo’s need for validation
[edit]After reading all the sources I found some new information that could lead to a better conclusion as to why he swallowed a needle. He wanted medical researchers and scientists to acknowledge that his acts were supernatural. An Einstein archival researcher wrote an article about Dajo’s written request (in German) to be allowed to demonstrate his abilities and Einstein’s refusal. I was able to find records in the archive but unable to read them [1]. This source is problematic because it’s a blog post, but the source documents can be verified so it should be considered for inclusion.
I also found a new source [2] that’s fact checked and speaks to his desire for doctors to observe the swallowed needle disappearing from his body as a final demonstration The long archived “problematic” source claims he had swallowed sharp metal in the past and never passed it leading to a belief that they dissolved or were supernaturally removed from his body. And then there’s also confusion as to the cause of death being from esophagus irritation or aortic bleeding. De Groot wanted to change the autopsy results to say what exactly? I don’t have access to his book (3 copies can be found in Dutch libraries only) and I can only read English. Technophant (talk) 08:28, 16 January 2022 (UTC)
