I will review this article. My review will be posted shortly. The UtahraptorTalk/Contribs 23:05, 19 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Note: I have not yet completed the review; however, feel free to leave comments. I have now completed the review. I am putting this article on hold for one week so that improvements can be made. The UtahraptorTalk/Contribs 00:19, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nice work, I am passing this article. The UtahraptorTalk/Contribs 20:05, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
1. Clearly written, in good prose with correct spelling and grammar
Lead
  • "The song enjoyed commercial success as well..." - Generally, the word "enjoy" should be avoided in encyclopedic articles. Consider rewording this sentence to "The song was commercially successful, as well..."  Done
  • "...who deem it as 'rather sweet' and 'heartwarming'." - Periods and commas should be placed inside quotation marks.  Done
  • "Following promotion, Swift has performed the song at an abundance of venues." - This sentence is irrelevant and should probably be reworded or removed.  Done
Critical reception
  • "...commenting that although the song was "formulaic", the formula was executed convincingly." - The comma should be placed in the quotation marks.  Done
  • "...especially "Love Story", although..." - The comma should be placed in the quotation marks.  Done
Chart performance
  • "This consequently made Swift the second female artist in the history of the Hot 100 to have multiple tracks debut in the top five, during a calendar year..." - The comma should be removed.  Done
  • "...on the week ending August 21, 2010 where it peaked at number two..." - A comma should be added after 2010.  Done
  • "...number seven on the Billboard Adult Pop Songs,[30] and number twelve on the Billboard Pop Songs." - For consistency, the comma after "Songs" should be removed.  Done
  • "...number forty-eight on Belgian Singles Chart (Flanders),[42] and number forty-eight on Sweden." - For consistency, the comma after "(Flanders)" should be removed.  Done
Music video
  • "'Mine's accompanying music video was co-directed by Swift and Roman White..." - The word "Mine" looks a bit odd; consider rewording this sentence to "The accompanying music video for 'Mine' was co-directed by Swift and Roman White..."  Done
  • "The music video was shot in Kennebunkport, Maine[48] where several scenes took place in Ram Island Farm, Cape Elizabeth, as well as Christ Church on Dane Street in Kennebunk, which served as the venue for the wedding scene." - This looks like a run-on sentence. It should say "The music video was shot in Kennebunkport, Maine, where several scenes took place in Ram Island Farm, Cape Elizabeth, and Christ Church on Dane Street. Christ Church served as the venue for the wedding scene."  Done
  • "The video premiered on August 27, 2010 on CMT,[51] in a live half-hour special event, CMT Premieres Taylor Swift "Mine", which included a behind-the-scenes look of the video." - This sentence should say "The video premiered on August 27, 2010, on CMT in a live half-hour special event which included a behind-the-scenes look of the video."  Done
  • "He proposes Swift while they are on a date and she cheerfully accepts, before moving in together." - Consider revising to "He proposes to Swift while they are on a date. She accepts and they move in together."  Done
  • "One night, things begin to go sour and much like her parents, Swift and her fiancé are having a heated argument." - Consider revising to "One night, Swift and her fiancé are having a heated argument, much like Swift's parents did."  Done
Live performances
  • "Swift sang 'Mine' in several other occasions." - Change the word "in" to "on."  Done
  • "...Swift appeared on The Paul O'Grady Show where she performed the song." - Add a comma after "Show."  Done
2. Factually accurate
  • I understand that this was the main concern in this article's previous GAN. I see no concerns here. It looks like everything's been taken care of in this field.
3. Without original research
  • No concerns here.
4. Broad in coverage
  • The background and release section seems a bit rushed to me. Can this section be expanded?
No problem. I have expanded the section.  Done
5. Written from a neutral point of view
  • No concerns here.
6. Stable, with no ongoing edit wars
  • No concerns here.
7. Compliant with image use policy
I replaced the photo and added a specific source as requested.  Done
