accent mark

[edit]

The name of the town and municipality should not be written with any accent mark. The name is Minas de Riotinto, not Minas de Ríotinto. I can't move the article 'cause it does exist "Minas de Riotinto". --DPC (talk) 18:21, 23 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know how this can be fixed, as I am currently looking at the article on my phone, but my guess is that as the page title "Minas de Ríotinto" contains an accented "i", MediaWiki just treats it as interchangeable with a standard "i" as far as English page naming is concerned. A solution might be to rename the page to "Minas de Riotinto (Spain)" and then to "Minas de Riotinto"? AShugg (talk) 13:05, 6 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
