problems
[edit]This article has some major problems. It was contributed essentially at onetime by a single editor, and is apparently based closely on a single book, Jane Maher, "Mina P. Shaughnessy: Her Life and Work",This needs checking to see the degree to which this is close paraphrase or even a copyvio. In any case, the tone is more like an essay than an encyclopedia article, drawing conclusions rather than reporting information, not presenting any critical analysis of her work, and there is greatly excessive emphasis on her private life. If a copyvio, it must be stubbified or rewritten; in any case, considerable editing is needed. As she is highly notable, the bio can not be left in this state; if nobody responds, I shall deal with it. DGG ( talk ) 09:46, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
