This page should not be speedily deleted because this is a referenced article on a manager of a professional team. Unclear why it was nominated by any method, especially speedy. If I understand correctly, the speedy deletion message suggests that the article should be deleted because it shouldn't have been created. It left me puzzled. Also no message was left on my talk page. Leaving it isn't mandatory but really helps keeping the necessary articles in place. gidonb (talk) 04:37, 19 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Update2: The speedy was invalid and has been rejected. Thanks! If someone is new to Wikipedia, this can be frustrating. Especially since the message was put on my page only after objecting here. Just to clarify: this manager meets [1] WP:ANYBIO since he won a major national prize [2] WP:NFOOTBALL as a manager of a fully professional league [3] WP:GNG per ample coverage on two continents.
