The link on this page to The Rapture is for the band, not the film. The link is also incorrect on the Rapture (disambiguation) page. I searched under "The Rapture (film)" but still couldn't find it. Playboy Appearance

According to the Wikipedia, she appeared in 3-93 Mimi Rogers. Furthermore, she was on the "Tonight" Show last night in the USA and said so herself that she was in Playboy 13 years ago. Now, 2006 minus 13 equals 1993. Simple, isn't it?

The fact tag was added to the wrong place. It was meant to be requesting a citation for her height and measurements, though these may have been given in the Playboy article? --Yamla 03:12, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

Lawsuit and Bust Size

I came here looking for more information on this incident mentioned on Mimi's imdb page: "Her $10 million suit against QVC network and the National Enquirer was thrown out of court in Nov. 1999 when she, in fact, could not prove that the story reporting her hysterical trashing of a QVC 'green room' was false."

Looking through her page history, I failed to find anything on the lawsuit, but I did dig up this nugget censored from her page in July '09 by a killjoy and presumed enemy of boobs going by "Hullaballoo Wolfowitz". Honestly people, are any of you going to stand up and say that Mimi's salacious figure has had nothing to do with her career? I expect my encyclopedia to deliver truth, especially the good parts:

"Famous for her voluptuous all natural physique (38D-26-36 according to Celebrity Sleuth magazine), she was fully nude for much of the entire 93 minutes of Full Body Massage (1995). Also notable was her nude modeling scene at the age of 48 in The Door in the Floor written by John Irving. More on the lawsuit. After some googling, I came up with this: "In 1998, Rogers sued The Home Shopping Network for $10-million, claiming the TV retailers had fed false information to the National Enquirer, leading the newspaper to report that Rogers had thrown a temper tantrum on the set, cursed like a sailor, and trashed a backstage room when she appeared on HSN to promote her line of exercise equipment. Rogers later dropped the suit, when a federal district court ruled in a preliminary hearing that the Enquirer's account was largely true."

The poker connection

"Having played poker as a teenager, Rogers took up competitive poker in 2003 and finished in the money in her first major tournament" This reads like a promotion for the event and others like it to add a bit of glamour. There have been a number of 'stories' appear in Wikipedia (and elsewhere) in recent times about various attractive women who enjoyed a good game of poker and ended up in the money. Seems too good a story to be true.
