Where's the picture?

[edit]

Thanks for a very interesting article. A picture always improves the article. -- AstroU (talk) 11:54, 24 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Tidy up cites to book

[edit]

Would anyone mind if I organized the page numbers cited to Mimi Alford's book according to harvnb markup style? The reference section would look like this (example is two cites to the book and one to a magazine article):

She also briefly met President Kennedy during this visit.[1] Alford confirmed the affair at that time but made no further comment.[2] Alford said that they did not have sexual relations after August 1963, though she retained her position in the White House.[3]

I would suggest using the Shortened footnotes (sfn), instead. Superior and easier. Otherwise, have at it. Kierzek (talk) 13:38, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Imma do it. Fishlandia (talk) 14:26, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal

[edit]

Requesting to merge articles: Once Upon a Secret into Mimi Alford; November 2017. Proposer's Rationale:

It seems to me there's so little information about either - a person who's known only for this one thing, and a description and publishing details of the book made out of it - that there's no point having both. Should they be blended into one article? (Crossposting to Once Upon a Secret Talk page.) Fishlandia (talk) 13:30, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You would have to do a request for merging. Kierzek (talk) 13:40, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I'll edit the title of this discussion section to include the word "merge" and put up banners at the two articles per https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Proposed_mergers, to start. Fishlandia (talk) 14:26, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
As I said on the book page, I agree with the merger to this article, with thereafter, a re-direct of the book name. Kierzek (talk) 15:55, 15 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
