Article issues

[edit]

I have tagged the article with some cleanup templates. Notability guideline requires significant coverage in multiple *independent* sources, but this article only contains primary sources. The article makes it seem that "optimistic concurrency control" is a clear win, but isn't backed up by any reliable sources -- it certainly has its downsides. -- intgr [talk] 19:46, 9 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Mimer SQL Dialects

[edit]

From the DRV discussion I became aware as of April 2017 the Mimer SQL dialect is discussed on the SQL article. As such it should probably also be mentioned on this article. However my brief reads are the dialect may be engine dependent so some digging might be required to achieve an accurate and appropriate content update, more time than I currently have. Similar may apply to procedural extensions. Djm-leighpark (talk) 08:08, 23 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Zero maintenance claim

[edit]

A significant claim for Mimer is zero-maintenance. which it has to be for some of its application areas. While for practical purp[oses the claim may be pretty much justified I could see it possibly being contentious. I thought how nice it would be to link to a zero maintenance article on wikipedia ...but there appears not to be and those that appear to be close might need work before a redirect could be created. There *may* be a spin off article or content opportunity here .... Djm-leighpark (talk) 11:20, 25 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
