Merge from Millerovo air base attack
[edit]I don't think the incident has stand-alone notability, and it would be best to merge and redirect this info here. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 12:15, 26 February 2022 (UTC)

- Oppose - So far, it appears to be the only Ukrainian strike in Russia territory, so it plays a significant part of the invasion. Elijahandskip (talk) 19:53, 26 February 2022 (UTC)
- Strong Oppose – Per Elijahandskip. The attack is notable because it happened on Russian soil, the first of such kind in the war. Dunutubble (talk) (Contributions) 21:03, 26 February 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose - I'm pretty sure that it's the first of Ukraine attacking Russian soil, and most of it so far took place in Ukraine. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dawsongfg (talk • contribs) 22:59, 26 February 2022 (UTC)
- Strong Oppose - The attack on the air base is a military engagement and should have it's own article/discussion from the location itself. It's like how the Battle of Stalingrad and Stalingrad are two different articles. PatriotMapperCDP (talk) 13:44, 27 February 2022 (UTC)
- Strong Oppose -As per above. Wtoteqw (talk) 16:51, 27 February 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose - The war between Russia and Ukraine is ongoing. We don't know how either article will change because of it.Vinay84 (talk) 00:48, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
- Strong Oppose - It's a battle, a notable one at that. A battle can't be a section in an article about a base. Can this base even stand on its own as notable? Ironmatic1 (talk) 03:13, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose -I Oppese it.Arisen (talk) 03:39, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
Is the base itself notable? Merge TO Millerovo air base attack?
[edit]This 12 day old article effectively offers three bits of information: The location, the runway length, and the unit stationed there. There is no support for the base's notability aside from the Ukrainian attack, and more than half of the article is about the attack. There probably doesn't need two articles practically about the same thing. While it's clear the attack article should not be merged here, perhaps the information here should instead be merged to Millerovo air base attack. Ironmatic1 (talk) 03:24, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose as it is two different topics. Same reason Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant and the Chernobyl disaster are two separate articles. Elijahandskip (talk) 03:32, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
