Mathematical error.

For consistency with other equations it appears that a change is needed such as -

$D(\omega )={\frac {1}{\omega _{\mathrm {0} }^{2}-\omega ^{2}-{\tfrac {i\omega }{\tau }}}}$

to read -

$D(\omega )={\omega _{\mathrm {0} }^{2}-\omega ^{2}-{\tfrac {i\omega }{\tau }}}$

Free carrier relaxation time.

I find this quite confusing since there aren't really free electrons in the system studied.

I suggest it would be better to call it just "electron relaxation time".

Or to follow the text referenced, change it for the dipole damping rate $2\gamma$:

$2\gamma ={\frac {1}{\tau }}$
