- Grabbing this one for a review. I must admit I have an ulterior motive - after being inspired to work up a number of Star Trek episodes by the work done on The X-Files and Millenium episodes, I have a keen interest in this article as a basis for working on specific Trek related comics. Miyagawa (talk) 21:37, 24 January 2016 (UTC)
- Hopefully this serves some use, then, but overall I have no real experience editing comics related articles. On a similar note—if Megan Gallagher's name turns up in any Trek-related sources you're using, I'd appreciate it if you could ping me. GRAPPLE X 10:20, 25 January 2016 (UTC)
- Funnily enough, I do! There will be something in the DS9 companion about her appearance in "Little Green Men". I'm pretty sure I read somewhere (not sure if it was related to DS9 or Voyager) that the producers were sending out casting information asking for a "Megan Gallagher" type. It was only when her agent read about it and told her that the producers realised that no-one had actually asked Gallagher herself. I'll dig around to find that. Ok, now for the actual review!
- "Millennium is a five-issue comic book series" - best to stick "American" before comic book series. Actually, I'm not sure if they do that for comic book articles, but we certainly do it for TV episodes, so it's probably good practice.
- I consciously avoided doing so—I've never really thought that sticking nationalities in things which aren't nationally influenced really imparts anything (I mean, it's important that Birth of a Nation is American and that the Táin is Irish, but to me they're exceptions). I'm willing to take a counterpoint though. GRAPPLE X 20:57, 25 January 2016 (UTC)
- "from January 2015" - perhaps "between January and August 2015"?
- Sure, changed. GRAPPLE X 20:57, 25 January 2016 (UTC)
- "The two visit Propps' halfway house" - at this point you've used "Propps'" a few times in successive sentences. Perhaps swap out this particular instance with "the offender's" or similar? Then you when "Propps" pops up again the following sentence it doesn't feel so repetitive.
- How does it read now? GRAPPLE X 20:57, 25 January 2016 (UTC)
- Publication - link The X-Files Season 10.
- I have that linked earlier in the article (under "Background"), should I move the link or reword the first one to not be piped ("the events of the season ten comic book series" → "the events of The X-Files Season 10?) instead? GRAPPLE X 20:57, 25 January 2016 (UTC)
- The quote "excellent storytelling that will keep you engaged" needs a citation directly after the following comma.
- Added. GRAPPLE X 20:57, 25 January 2016 (UTC)
- Likewise the quote "creepy".
- Ditto. GRAPPLE X 20:57, 25 January 2016 (UTC)
- Citation #9 is incomplete.
- Added the publisher, is anything else missing? GRAPPLE X 20:57, 25 January 2016 (UTC)
- Here comes the question I'm sure you've been anticipating: What makes The Comics Chronicles, ComicBookRoundUp and We The Nerdy reliable sources. I'm not saying that they're not, just I have to ask. There are some guidelines here: Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources
- The Comics Chronicles was listed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Comics/References; I took it that they would have more familiarity with reliable sources in the field than I would. I could have sworn I found the other two there, but it doesn't look like they're listed. ComicBookRoundUp serves more as an aggregator of content elsewhere; they're the Metacritic/Rotten Tomatoes of comics by the look of it. In using it, I took the same precautions as using those sites, only reporting on critics' reviews and not the user-generated side of things. As for We The Nerdy, I'm not 100% sure how I got there, but I'm struggling to find an "about" page to get a grasp on their editorial oversight, but there is mention of staff writers. I'll keep looking though. GRAPPLE X 20:57, 25 January 2016 (UTC)
- That's fine, from the post here there is at least some editorial oversight, so I'm happy with that. Miyagawa (talk) 10:37, 26 January 2016 (UTC)

- I think that is everything for the review. The rationale for the image is spot on. You could probably create a "Comics based on The X-Files" Category if there were a few different X-Files/Millenium comic related articles to put in there. Miyagawa (talk) 17:57, 25 January 2016 (UTC)
- That looks like everything, so I'm happy to promote. Miyagawa (talk) 10:37, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
