[edit]At 14:27, 26 August 2018, Military Decoration (Belgium) was substantially edited, with Military Decoration for gallantry or exceptional devotion becoming a separate page. I propose the latter page be merged back to the former page, for the following reasons:
- The two are legally the same decoration, created by the same Royal Decree of December 23, 1873, with awards "for gallantry or exceptional devotion" coming under Article 4 of the said Decree;
- The civilian equivalent, Civic Decoration, has awards both "for service" and "for bravery, devotion or humanity" covered by the same page;
- The French and Polish Wikipedia pages for Military Decoration (Belgium) already cover awards both "for service" and "for gallantry or exceptional devotion", while there are no non-English Wikipeida page for Military Decoration for gallantry or exceptional devotion;
- At the Orders, decorations, and medals of Belgium page, Military Decoration for gallantry or exceptional devotion is already linked to the Military Decoration (Belgium) page;
- At the Template:Orders, decorations, and medals of Belgium, Military Decoration for gallantry or exceptional devotion is not featured at all.
