I'll get to the main review shortly. Before I do, here's a couple issues I noticed on a skim read:

  • WP:LEAD needs expanding.
  • Make sure all the refs contain all necessary information in the links. For example, refs #7 and 10 need access dates, ref #17 should add the author's name, I'm sure there are others where a name can be added.
  • Comment The 'Early Life section is written somewhat awkwardly. "Growing up, Lucic attended Killarney Secondary[6] and was diagnosed with Scheuermann's disease, " These things are not related, or maybe, he was diagnosed while attending the school? The immigrant status of his parents is repeated. You can probably leave it out of the first sentence, instead probably stating their descent, e.g. of Serbian descent. ʘ alaney2k talkʘ 03:23, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've addressed all the above concerns. I hope I've taken care of them correctly. Orlandkurtenbach (talk) 01:12, 22 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Here's the rest of the review.

  • The lead still feels a bit short to me, though at the same time he has most of his career yet to be played, so I won't worry about this.
  • While the first vancouver paragraph is mostly unsourced, it's mainly stats, so while sources would be nice for the numbers I won't force it if that's any issue.
  • "In the 2007 off-season, Lucic signed an entry-level contract with the Bruins on August 2, 2007." Having 2007 in there twice makes it feel redundant; reword.
  • "His first goal came a week later on October 12, a game-winner against Jonathan Bernier in an 8–6 win against the Los Angeles Kings." If they won by two, how was it a 'game winner' then?

I'll put it on hold and pass when this is fixed. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 05:30, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Everything looks fixed now. It passes all the GA criteria, and as such I will pass this article as a GA. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 01:24, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks to Wizardman for passing and also to Mephiston999 for helping address the concerns. In regards to the game winning goal, however, a GWG is credited to a player when he scores the goal that puts his team one goal ahead of the opposing team at the end of the game. This stat does not take into account whether or not the winning team won by one or more goals. You can see the definition at Ice hockey statistics. I'm going to restore the game winning goal statement in the article, but if there is still an objection, I will gladly remove it until the dispute is resolved. Thanks again.
