Sources
[edit]Sourcing to verify details has been a challenge since many sources are not in English and perhaps not even internet searchable in the roman alphabet. So in some cases I have had to rely on what her typical performers' biographies say.

Spelling of Name
[edit]I initially put this article in with the spelling "Sung" since that is currently used on all of her social media accounts. However, nearly all published sources such as concert programs use the spelling "Soung". It became awkward to be linking to sources that used a different spelling. So I moved the article to "Soung" since that seems to be the preferred and fairly (but not completely) consistent professional usage.
On 2019-05-23 I received an email from Jason Heath, in which he expressed similar confusion. He said he, too, opted to use "Soung" since that was the usage in the official Bradetich Competition materials.

More recently I realized that all her concert programs from 2019 use the spelling "Sung", as do all her social media accounts. Her brother and father also spell their name "Sung" everywhere at this time. So it seems to be a clear and consistent preference now, and having the Wikipedia article under "Soung" only creates and perpetuates confusion about the spelling.
Move requested (to swap with the existing redirect page) on 2019-08-11.
