[edit]Picture needed
[edit]This article needs a picture of his memorial obelisk. A picture of the monument in front of city hall would be good too, assuming we don'T have copyright issues. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 23:54, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
Streets
[edit]I was looking at the Polish Wikipedia, and it appears that there is one named for him now, and that there was named for him in the past. VKrakow" was costly Karabel, and February 1, 1881 City Council unanimously awarded him an honorary citizen of the city. Speaker of the Sejm of Galicia
In the years 1881-1886 he served as Speaker of the Sejm function Zyblikiewicz National at the time was the initiator of the construction of a road along the Dunajec Gorge Pieniny from Szczawnica the Red Monastery. - Basically, what it says is, that there was a street named after him also in Lviv (now capital of the sovereign Ukraine), but it was liquidated in Soviet Ukraine under Stalin. Apparently, they didn't like the Polish connection there in the 1950s. In my view, this is not particularly important in our article. Also, there was a canal named after Zyblikiewicz connecting Vistula with Dunajec River, and a bullevard in Krakow. However, the issue was settled once he got his own street in Krakow Old Town. We can add, that he died of pneumonia. Poeticbent talk 16:12, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
- I leave it up to you. Sometimes it's better to let one knowledgeable editor take care. However, this could be a note, perhaps? I think it worth mentioning, but not necessarily worth taking up space in the main part of the article. That he was named in Lviv and eradicated by Stalin (like the disappearing communists from the pictures) is itself notable. Likewise, having a canal named for him would often be part of a "Popular culture" section. Just a thought. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 16:26, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
