Pour qui inclurer les bruits et oublier les chansons belles?

Competition for space in people's minds is severe. People are becoming healthier. Thus, people veer away from carriers of information who provide trash, like gossip rags. The Vancouver Sun demonstrated in summer 1997 it operates as a gossip rag rather than as a newspaper, printing exciting gossip without first investigating what happened. Such rags are, I think, far beneath what Wikipedia aims to be. Admittedly my impression of Wikipedia is from the sections in mathematics, science, logic and technology - honestly I am impressed. However, when reading biographies of people, I wonder if Wiki is promoting a private agenda rather than being transparently true to ternary mathematical logic, the only foundation for informed democracy. Sometimes volunteer editors of Wiki are in a difficult situation, having to manage information in public appropriately. Think of it this way: would you like it to be you? I prefer all mention of the pardoned French incident be erased from Mikhail Prokhorov's online existence so deeply that this statement seems to refer to nothing.

There is an RfC on the question of using "Religion: None" vs. "Religion: None (atheist)" in the infobox on this and other similar pages.

The RfC is at Template talk:Infobox person#RfC: Religion infobox entries for individuals that have no religion.

Please help us determine consensus on this issue. --Guy Macon (talk) 09:16, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
