[edit]

There are many sources referring to Mike Roth such as [1] (archived from The Record) [2] [3] (an interview with Danny McBride) [4] (gives a bio of Roth)

And although, all these sources do not specifically focus on Roth (because he is normally mentioned in magazines which focus on his efforts, and his contributions to other bands, rather than his biography), all the information in this article is attributable to a relatively adequate secondary source, except possibly the list of artists Roth has discovered and developed, which was taken from Big Bold Sun Music's website. However, this could be remedied by a simple edit rather than deleting the whole page.

Roth is a powerful figure in Canadian music, who has not only discovered but also developed numerous famous, chart-topping Canadian bands, and because of his presence in numerous secondary sources, as well as his contributions to the Canadian music industry, I believe this article should not be deleted. If this article gets deleted, surely Frankie Vega, Mike Smith, Mike Pickering, John Kalodner, Ron Fair, Monte Conner, and Merlin Bobb, should all be considered candidates for speedy deletion, as these A&R men have similar biographies in that they have all worked as A&R men for significant bands, and are typically unsourced (whereas there are sources referring to Mike Roth, they just haven't been incorporated into the main article as of yet). Please integrate any third part reliable sources into the article. The JPStalk to me 20:30, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
