Mike claims that he was a Golden Gloves champion in the light heavyweight class in 1985, but his name does not appear in any of the web pages referring to the Golden Gloves of 1985. I therefore assume that he just made that claim up, as most bodybuilders do to enhance their image and aweness. I do mention, however, that he was a boxer at one time.

Is he Italo-American?

Unverifiable claims on working at AJ's Bail Bonds

[edit]

In the article the line "was last reported to be working as a bail bondsman for AJ's Bail Bonds" is unverifiable. The citation points to AJ's Bail Bonds website, but on checking the website for AJ's Bail Bonds there is no reference to Matarazzo currently or ever working there, or being involved with the business in any way.

As there is no email contact on that site I am unable to verify if the claims in the article. This would suggest to me that this information should either be verified or removed (but I can see why that might be debatable, hence why I'm writing here rather than just editing the article directly).
