Edward Rell Madigan
[edit]Is he related to Edward Rell Madigan?--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTD) 18:00, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
No, he isn't. 12.105.118.37 (talk) 21:46, 29 June 2008 (UTC)Jgrisso
1995-1996
[edit]Michael Madigan's page indicates that he lost the speakership from 1995-1996 when Reagan was at the top of the ticket. However, Reagan was not on the ticket those years, and had in fact been out of public life for some time by the mid-90s. I recommend this be changed to either refer to Newt Gingrich or the Republican Revolution (I tried to do this and was blocked, so I figured I'd throw it out here for discussion). 2601:2:5B00:7AC:1821:6331:40D3:7956 (talk) 12:07, 21 March 2014 (UTC)
- Fixed. Thanks for the suggestion. Hugh (talk) 02:20, 22 March 2014 (UTC)
Madigan was majority and minority leader
[edit]According to the Illinois General Assembly, Michael Madigan was the House Majority Leader from 1977 to 1981 and the House Minority leader from 1981-1983 and 1995-1997. Should this be included on Madigan's infobox? - 1990'sguy (talk) 01:42, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
