inventions
[edit]I looked at that USPTO search, and it looks as if for some of the inventions, e.g. #17 in the list, there is more than one inventor shown in the "Inventors:" line lower down, but the "Inventor" field (which is searched on) simply reads "Keith, Michael et al". Does this imply that Keith might be listed as a non-primary co-inventor on other Intel patents? Should we then call him "primary inventor" in this article? Rpresser 16:51, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
- Studying the list further, some of the 100 hits have him as a co-inventor but not the first inventor listed, and the "IN" field seems to be always the first inventor alphabetically, so there's no "primary inventor" as there is a primary author on scholarly papers. Therefore I'm editing the article to say "inventor or co-inventor." Rpresser 16:55, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
- Mm, interesting. Thank you very much for doing the patent search. PrimeFan 22:29, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
