Merge?

[edit]

How is this different from gentrification? I think these two articles may describe the same phenomenon. WhatamIdoing (talk) 04:39, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

June 2008 Revert by Vinsfan368

[edit]

Hello, I received a notice indicating that my recent edit to this article had been reverted as it appeared to be vandalism. This edit was to correct a typographical error, the word "even" being repeated twice. ("Even even the most marginalized people are ...") I believe that this edit was mistakenly identified as vandalism. I have undone the reversion. If Vinsfan368 or anyone else would like to revert the edit again please explain why this edit is identified as vandalism on the talk page. 216.36.186.2 (talk) 12:40, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Recommend deletion

[edit]

This article lacks the documentation to even demonstrate that "migration of the disadvantaged" is anything but original research/the rantings of one of our bleeding heart-type friends. As mentioned before, this concept is more than covered by the gentrification article, rendering this article both entirely unsubstantiated and utterly useless. I recommend that it be deleted (a merge is unnecessary--the gentrification article already covers this). E Pluribus Americanus (talk) 05:45, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
