[edit]It seems to me that the statistics cited in the article (number of students, faculty, courses, programs, etc.) should include a time-frame.--Branlon 16:55, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
Community college
[edit]There is an article Middlesex Community College (New Jersey). Is this the same? -- User:Docu
Unnecessary information included in this article
[edit]Alansohn recently reverted several changes I made to article that primarily removed a lot of unnecessary information. These changes primarily removed a lot of quotes that were included in the references section of this article; that's simply an unorthodox practice that isn't necessary.
He or she also asserted that "in the U.S., all community colleges are public." First, that isn't completely accurate; we have a list of private 2-year colleges that some people might consider "community colleges" because the term isn't an official or regulated one in the U.S. Second, many readers may not know that most community colleges are public so explicitly stating that the college is public is helpful (and requires only one word!).
There are a handful of other minor edits that were caught up in this unnecessary reversion e.g., linking to the state and country in the first sentence. Including those links is unnecessary - I have previously asked other editors about that specifically - so I'd appreciate if others who disagree can explicitly discuss that instead of reverting without discussion or comment.
