Redirect turned into disambiguation page
[edit]Middle Eastern architecture is a very broad designation and does not refer solely to Iranian architecture (which is what this originally redirected to). Many readers would likely search for this topic thinking of Islamic architecture more broadly, or of ancient Near Eastern architecture, etc. Because of that, I've turned this into a disambiguation page, listing Islamic architecture, Iranian architecture, and Ottoman architecture for a start. At the moment there are no pages about general ancient Middle Eastern architecture that I know of, though in the future that could be relevant here too. I've also avoided, following my best judgement, listing strictly regional, country-specific, or narrowly period-specific architecture styles; e.g. Ancient Egyptian architecture, Mamluk architecture, Sumerian architecture, etc. "Ottoman" and "Iranian" architecture seem to be reasonable inclusions because they in fact cover wide areas beyond a single country. I don't create disambiguation pages often, so I encourage other editors to improve this one as needed. Robert Prazeres (talk) 18:56, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
