Abe?
[edit]Any reason Abe isn't in the character list? Daniel's parents are pretty important to the novel, too, but certainly Abe should be in the list if Dusty is?
- Go ahead and add him. --Golbez 22:53, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
- Why is there no mention of Susan cashing in her stock options? Her becoming very wealthy (even if not an actual millionaire) is at least as relevant as Bugs "coming out of the closet".--Peter Knutsen 09:24, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
Ethan
[edit]The book strongly suggests, but doesn't explicitly say, that the surgery on Ethan's back was from skin cancer, e.g. he posits that the problems were the end result of "a mole gone bad" iirc. The chemo, then, isn't a new development, from the reader's perspective, but a continuation of the earlier plot point. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.255.113.61 (talk) 14:12, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
Underwood/Underhill
[edit]Did anyone else happen to notice that, on p. 279, Michael addressed Daniel's father as Mr. Underhill, and not his correct name, Mr. Underwood? There seems to be no indication that Mr. Coupland did this on purpose, and since we're nearing the last quarter of the book by this point, you'd think that Michael would know Mr. Underwood's real last name by now. I thought it was interesting that Mr. Coupland or his editor(s) didn't catch that, unless there was a reason for it that I didn't catch on to. I'm not too good at reading into things, so did I miss something somewhere? Valshotz (talk) 19:05, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Microserfs.jpg
[edit]Image:Microserfs.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
