Anonymous: I remember 2 years back when this page stated that a man named Prakash Potluri coined the term. Could someone please look this up and check it? Because nobody likes not getting credit for what they did. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.102.246.97 (talk) 00:02, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

planeta: This page will be updated within a day. I am asking colleagues to submit examples of what they consider microphilanthropy

munnecke: I added some links and material on the page, and also deleted the travel section in order for the page to focus on the notion of microphilanthropy as a general topic, and not a place for people to post their individual activities. Perhaps folks could post their examples on the talk page, or another site, rather than on the article.

planeta: I am restoring the travel section as this is the area in which I wanted to focus when I created this topic. The point is not to discuss individual acts but to review how multiple individual acts can benefit locals and visitors.

macrophilanthropy: We added our information to the technology paragraph because we believe the micro model could be applied on a larger scale if there was a workable, proven and established focal point for admininstration, aggregation and distribution.
